- Gain insight into building strong coalitions, select your political targets, frame your messages in convincing ways
- Practice how to conduct influential lobby meetings
- Learn how to monitor advocacy results
Who should join?
You are a professional engaged in advocacy, civil society capacity building, governance or transparency programmes. You may represent a network, an alliance, an association or a trade union. You defend the interests of many or promote rights for your target groups.

Mr. Toonen is senior trainer of MDF Vietnam office. Koen also has over 20 years of development experience at the UN. He was involved in managing the UNDP-UNEP Poverty Environment Partnership. He is an all-round development expert and trainer in Results-Based Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Advocacy and Policy Influencing, Network Management, Multi-stakeholder Partnerships, Sustainability Planning, Institutional Development and Organizational Strengthening, notably for poverty alleviation and environmental management.
